Convenient location and nice from outside but tired and dirty!
Booked last minute as part of a sightseeing few days travelling from Roscoff to Biarritz.
Knew from the price it wasn't going to be anything special but looked alright for a quick stop off. Arrived late afternoon and was easy to find on outskirts of town. Safe secure car park and looked nice from outside and lobby area but the room was old, worn out and not particularly clean - hairs on floor, splashes of something on walls, rotten wooden bath and sink surround although beds and bedding looked and smelt clean thankfully. I did ask for another room and explained concerns. Receptionist didn't seem surprised and explained the hotel was in the middle of a refurb and there were only a few rooms available and they were all of a similar standard. Not particularly apologetic but helpful. The other room I looked at was similar but had single beds instead of a double so not suitable for us so we stayed in the original one. Kitchen was small and dingy although well equipped. Bathroom all worked however after having a shower the bathroom was infested with tiny ants seeming living under the bath. They disappeared again in the morning and seemed to mainly stay in the bathroom.
Good for a quick pit stop if you don't mind just a clean bed but we really couldn't relax and were glad to leave. There is a basic swimming pool which seemed clean although cold despite hot weather but great for kids at end of long day travelling.
