Excellent From Start to Finish
A fabulous and comfortable newly refurbished room, clean and fresh on arrival.
The room is in a public house which can be a little noisy for families but for a young person travelling around it is ideal and in a very good location for amenitities. All in all a very good stay thank you
would not reccmmend this hotel at all
I stayed at this hotel for two nights on the 25th and the 26th June I walked in to the room and all you could hear was the busy road outside and the very popular pub down stairs as I was unpacking I noticed there were wires hanging out the wall by the bedside table but I got there late and just wanted sleep so I went to bed to find as I went to the loo in the night the toilet seat fell off as it wasn't attached properly so in the morning I informed reception to which they replied they would get the handyman to sort it so I went out for breakfast and a mooch around the shops and came back to the hotel around four hours later to be told by a cleaner I have been moved rooms so when I got in the new room there was 5 fist punch marks in the bathroom door and the handle wasn't secure on the bathroom door so you couldn't close it properly (this was a twin room luckily I was sharing with my sister) and the light shade above the bed wasn't secure so when I went to inform the reception the male receptionist replied what do you want me to do I have already moved you rooms so we left it at that because he made it quite clear he wasn't going to do anything about it then when checking out the receptionist told me there was still money owed on my account even though I payed in full at check in she then told me there was a charge for swapping rooms
Don't waste your money.
I can't even think of a word to describe it.
Double room so small only one person could stand at a time. Lopsided bed, broken radiator, though after taking staff into the room a heater was supplied,we didn't use it. No spoons to use with the coffee making facilities. Bathroom, disgusting, you just wouldn't use it.
Worst room I've ever stayed in
This Hotel was easy to book on line. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we arrived.
Overall a good quiet room, however, I think house keeping could have been a bit better as we saw cobwebs and dust.
Bathroom ceiling mouldy, tiles and grout in poor condition, living area walls very dirty.
Wifi didn't work, paid £62 per night, just wasn't worth the money, the whole upstairs accommodation area very tired and in desperate need of a refurbishment, went down for breakfast in the morning, found a table near the window to find a gaping whole in the window sill, which was black with mould, this put me right off my breakfast, so drank half a cup of coffee as that was all that was left in the flask, reluctantly paid the money and checked out, didn't complain, just left but would never go back, although I do have to say the staff were very good.
value for price paid
It is not the ritz but it is good value for what it is good comfortable bed had very good night sleep
Royal Inn by Good Night Inns
Good rooms friendly staff food spot on.
Bed was very uncomfortable, heating is on when they say not when you want it on.
Car parking very much a struggle apart from that ok.
All reception staff very helpful.
A shame about poor car parking.
Late rooms stay
The bathroom taps wouldn't work, shower kept going hot and cold, when using the sink to brush my teeth waste water started coming through the bath plug into the bath filling the room with an awful smell.
