My advice to you is, do not stay in this hotel if you have any common sense. I arrived to be greeted by a stand office male receptionist who treated my cough like the plague. On entering my room, I could barely see anything due to 3 out of the 5 light bulbs not working. I had asked for a quiet room but was instead put in one facing one of the busiest roads in Glasgow and my room was right outside a bus stop. No double glazing so I heard everything. TV is very small and stuck in one position so I ended up with neck strain trying to watch it. Things then got progressively worse on entering the bathroom to be hit with the most foul smell of dirt and damp. The shower curtain was rancid and numerous dark hairs were everywhere (I am blonde). After finally falling asleep I was then woken at 3 am by guests running up and down the corridor laughing and joking until 5 am. The final straw was another guest running up the corridor at 4 am banging on everyone's door (including mine) and yelling room service. I rang reception to be told that the individual responsible had ran down the stairs and out the front door. Breakfast was included but due to the lack of cleanliness there was no way I was going to risk that. I left thoroughly exhausted and feeling I had been robbed. On leaving I told the receptionist and all she advised was that I email the manager. Let's just say that sleeping in my car would have been preferable to this.
Great location, staff very friendly.
