Nice annex cottage

We had a lovely stay here, the cottage annex we had was beautiful.

Nice, warm and comfortable, even provided us with toiletries. Was nice bringing back a chinese takeaway and watching the telly. Has its own parking and the staff were lovely. We had breakfast and the food was really nice. Only slight niggles was front door to cottage backs onto smoking area of pub, was a bit noisy so we waited for pub to close before trying to sleep. Also people in next door cottage were rhino footed going up their stairs and the kid with them was like linford christie up the stairs as well as rhino footed. We said this to the staff but out of their control and we didnt really let it bother us. I didnt spend to much time in the pub apart from ordering a pint to take to the cottage, we were both tired from the days shopping and exploring but the hobgoblin cask ale was good, first time ive had hobgoblin on cask. I would stay here again and would recommend to anyone but would advise trying to sleep after pub closes due to the smoking area thing

Basic and a little shabby but good sized rooms.

Very good that there was free parking. Breakfast was okay but very slow. There only appeared to be one person doing everything. He did his best but it took 50 minutes for the food to arrive.
