Lovely well-kept hotel

We had a great sea view - I've stayed in quite a few of Brighton's hotels.

I'd really recommend this one.

Only small issue that windows are really drafty!

Our first dip into breakfast wasn't a good one.

Almost all the items were cold. The coffee could have been hotter, thank goodness for the next morning things had improved. All food was hot and coffee was hot.

Stay at the Royal hotel

Hotel clean and bright.

Staff friendly and attentive. Had breakfast which was average but substantial. Lots to choose from breakfast menu. Restaurant bright and airy. Again staff very helpful. Would stay here again. Easy access to shops and attractions. Would recommend to friends.

Kings Hotel

Good for overnight stay.

We were happy with our stay as we did not spend much time in our room. We were on the ground floor and although the room was clean and comfortable we felt as if we were in a dungeon. It was dark and we would not have been able to sit back and relax. Breakfast was basic but adequate and was fine for the money paid. We would stay again but would insist on a better room location.

Kings Hotel

A reasonable option.

I paid £44.10 for a single room in November 2016. I had stayed previously at the hotel and had received a large room; however on this occasion the room offered was tiny and I didn't enjoy my stay as much. For a moderate price the hotel is acceptable and if you know your way up the streets to the town centre as I do it's only a five minute walk. The food is good and the staff pleasant enough which makes me able to recommend this hotel to any future clients.

Kings Hotel

Not the best breakfast by far: 1 thin bit of bacon, 1 sausage, 1 almost cooked poached egg snotty looking, small portion of beans and that's called a Full English!

Great place to stay

We were given a room in the basement which has a lot of stairs to go up and down and also the room is very small with no view (obviously lol) but was very clean.

I felt it should have been a lot cheaper for what it was offering though

Plenty of wardrobe space.

All bed linen spotless. Should provide a toilet brush.

One lift is inadequate. No airconditioning - VERY hot in high summer. Friendly and helpful receptionists.
