Bear Essentials

The Bear is in a poor state of repair.

Downstairs is particularly in need of some TLC and building improvements. My room was at the top of the building and meant negotiating a lot of stairs and a wobbly bannister. To be fair, my room was of a slightly better quality and seemed quite clean save for a dirty net curtain. The bedroom was large, as was the bathroom which was shabby but clean with abundant hot water and bath. However, the TV did not work, there were cracks in the walls and ceiling which were crying out for repair and the loud music from the bar could be clearly heard. The floor was characterful in its slope and creaked with every step. The location was good for the town centre as the room looked out across the central market square.
