About the hotel
Wonderful, beamed, newly converted Cider Barn, in pretty, peaceful rural hamlet only 1 mile to Wellington. We have kept the character of this special high barn, leaving its roof open, showing 7 King posts and the original elm beams. It is warm and cosy, we use an environmentally friendly, air source heat pump and a large, roaring woodburner.
The bedrooms are light, and look over the delightful garden/courtyard area. Comfortable, high ceiling bedooms have chairs, ensuite shower rooms, flatscreen TV/DVDs, wifi/intranet plug in points, tea/coffee making, and two have doors out to garden. One room has a bathroom with shower opposite. We have footpaths at our doorstep, and you can stroll across fields to the peaceful River Tone, - and even walk into Wellington town for pottering and shopping. Easy reach of Exmoor, Brendons, Quantocks and Blackdown Hills. Tucked quietly away, yet only 3 miles M5 Junction 26.
