The Valley of Rocks Hotel

We just spent one night here in early November.

We had a ground floor room with no view but we arrived in the dark and left early the next morning so this was not an issue. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was large and clean but in need of a good spruce up (wallpaper peeling off the wall in some places) the bathroom was much better, bright and modern, plenty of hot water. There was a coach party of turkey and tinsel customers whilst we were there so we felt slightly under aged !!!Good selection of cold and hot breakfast served buffet style. We booked last minute on late rooms and overall for the price we paid it was very fair, just a night to crash somewhere but would not of liked to have spent a weeks holiday here.

One night stay booking with laterooms

Staff were excellent, rooms were clean, breakfast was good.

Room was past the need to be refurbished and I would be embarrassed to have a guest stay here. Example was the bathroom tiles put up using staples, rusty fittings and corroded mirror. TV was also very poor. Yes we only paid £59.99 with laterooms but you would expect the same quality rooms that a full paying guest had that had booked in advance. Also we were not able to eat in for a evening meal. I feel we were treated as second class and would not want to book with laterooms or stay in this hotel again

I will finish to say the staff were more than helpful, friendly and kind.
