Lovely inn beautifully refurbished, great value for money with friendly staff and locals alike.
Difficult to find good places to stay in and near Plymouth,so this is a great find.
Mixed blessings at the anchor
On arrival the room looked rather tired.
The lamp near the mirror wasn't working, and the only place to plug in the kettle was the bedside cabinet. Also the plug in the bathroom sink wouldn't stay in so we had to keep the tap running. However I did report these to reception and they said they would get it fixed. The management and chef were new and the food fantastic, so hoping a bit of TLC in the rooms will pay dividends. We would definitely eat here again.
