Cosy and welcoming
Very good service, and tastefully decorated room.
Relatively comfortable bed. Problems with TV, but staff amenable to offering a free croissant with the complimentary beverages in the sitting room area, which compensated somewhat. Would definitely go back. Camberwell is a surprisingly buzzing area.
Value for money if booked in advance
Second visit and satisfied again.
Breakfast finishes early for the holiday-maker although I accept not for the business person. Ate dinner in the restaurant last time but there was a mix up with the table booking and the staff seemed to be in a state of confusion, so I decided not to bother this time. Couldn't fault the quality of the room or the cleanliness - both were excellent. My room was at the back of the hotel and there was constant noise from emptying bottles from the restaurant and then the bin lorries arriving. My son was on the first floor at the front and he heard constant music playing. Maybe that's just London. However, I would try and select a room next time away from night-time noise if possible.
