Great concept, great location.
This flat is in the perfect spot; mid way between the railway station and the centre of Bath.
It felt like home and made for a relaxing stay. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, addressing questions and concerns as they arose. My only complaint would be that neither of the remote controls had batteries in them (presumably a previous guest took them home?!) and they hadn't been checked. Which meant we couldn't watch TV. Not a massive problem as for most of the time we are out and about exploring beautiful Bath but...
SACO Bath - St James Parade
Very clean and tidy , but very noisy from traffic, early morning bin collection.
Just ok I guest . . .
The photos look amazing but I'm sorry to say, you will be fooled.
Pictures show this gorgeous modern apartment, however you arrived to a slightly disappointing standard flat. Very misleading. We first arrived to a lovely member of staff that helped us to pop our luggage into storage as we arrived early with an 8 week old baby. When we returned, we then had the delight crossing paths with the manager of whom was more than happy to belittle his staff in front of me and my husband - somewhat unprofessional. And then again having a moan in the back office about how staff were not doing their job properly. (Yes we can all have a moan at work, but as a guest paying money, I do not want to see it!)
We were help to our room, and again - lovely lady - Australian. We browsed the room to find long hair in the bath, dirty cutlery that still had food on. Shower head not staying up. Minor things but when you pay the amount you pay - you expect the best standard. Walls very thin. Our baby was a beaut - slept all night, however, the 2 rooms either side of us were loud until around 3. Again, I understand people are here to have fun - but the thin walls are not great. Expect the youngsters too to be loud on the streets at kicking out time - (those where the days!)
The concept of the apartment is a good idea - and the pint of milk in the fridge is a great touch, but your photos are deceiving and it was just so disappointing. A premier Inn would have been better value for money . . . it just wasn't anything special.
Be prepared to pay £14.00 a day parking as there are no onsite parking unless you pre-book the few spaces they have, which we didn't know about.
Aparment in a prime location
Very pleased with all aspects of the apartment from booking until leaving.
Better than i was expecting. Staff very friendly and rooms very spacious, i will be staying here again when i visit bath.
SACO Bath - James Parade February 2015
Very friendly and welcoming receptionist, clean well equipped room.
The only downside was no hot water in the evening. at nearly £200 per night I would expect to at least be able to take a shower before going out for the evening - very disappointing.
clean and welcoming room.
the hotel staff were very welcoming and delivered a request upon arrival
