70% would recommend it to a friend
Having passed by the Queens on many occasions I had wondered what it was like, now I know.
The room was a disappointment, very basic and well worn, not sparkling clean and we were only given bath towels not bath sheets. The hotel is obviously geared toward coach parties and groups not individual travellers. Breakfast on Monday was a nightmare, the room was far too small for the numbers coming to breakfast. Having stayed in a variety of places in York, this is one I would not recommend or book again.
The Queens Hotel
Bit chaotic at breakfast.
Could do with the fried eggs out on food bar and milk for tea by the drinking area rather Ryan having to go to the cereal area.
