The staff were welcoming and very helpful, even prioritising our room to be prepared so we could check in early and arranging early breakfast for us.
The room we really nice and clean and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, we'd have liked to have stayed more nights!
The main building pictured is undergoing restoration but in any case this is not where most bedrooms are situated. We were in a noisy annex which, although about 10 years old, clearly lacked basic maintenance (Broken lights, broken door locks). If you want eggs for breakfast they have to be poached. Can't do scrambled apparently. They don't offer marmalade with the toast either, just butter. A walk around the 17 acres however is delightful. Some good thoughts have gone into that.
