Perfectly Compact and Bijou
Full of character and nice little touches.
Bev was really helpful and a great host. Clean and comfortable. Wifi was a bit hit and miss on the top floor where we stayed but as we were only there one night it wasn't an issue. More milk in the room or some extra pots left in reception once it has closed would be the only minor enhancement to our stay as 5 little pots were just enough for one mug of tea each (they are large mugs) and we didn't have any milk for the morning. That said as soon as there were staff around they were only more than happy to get a jug of fresh milk for us. All in all would definitely stay again and would recommend. In fact already have and they have booked.
Perfect small touches
It was the little things which made this a special B&B.
The room was small but I'd only booked a single so I'm not complaining. There were lovely biscuits, toffees and excellent toiletries. The bed was comfortable and the shower room was clean and well maintained. The lounge and garden were lovely. I took a cup of tea down with my Sunday paper but I could have had a reasonably priced drink from the honesty bar had I chosen. Breakfast was lovely home made muesli and a freshly cooked full English. Value was excellent.
