Pleasant overnight stay

My wife and I stayed at the Queens hotel for her birthday.

We tend to travel by train and return the same day as we don't live too far away. She has always fancied staying for the night and we weren't disappointed by the Queens. The room was clean and a reasonable size. We ate in the pub in the evening and although the menu was not vast it all looked good and ours was very tasty and plentiful. Similarly the breakfast was plentiful and good. The Queens is in an excellent location overlooking the Ribble estuary and on the doorstep of the town centre. All the staff were courteous and helpful. Will definitely stay again next time we have an overnight stay.
