Lovely staff and place was perfect for what i needed, small but has everything and well located
Shower was grim, build up of dirt and lime scale on the edges of the shower were disgusting.
We couldn't close the bathroom window so it was open all night, when I reported in reception I was told nothing can't be done as the maintanance people have finished work for a day... towels were screaming for upgrade the threads were hanging off on every side like tensil on Christmas tree.
The only source of heating in the room was little oil filled radiator..
breakfast was the top of the joke.. we got served toest of the lowest quality jam and butter, I al,out forgot about tiny tiny croissant and chocolate brioche probably 2" long each...
as we were leaving I've ask the woman in reception for a bill and we were told that printer has broke down and she can't give us a bill...
What a joke , we were glad when we left it.
Needed a double room in the area.
A small hotel which has been sympathetically developed from an old block of flats. Well appointed, clean and fresh, nice croissants for breakfast.
The New London Carlton Hotel
Nice, clean room.
Very spacious for London.
Noisy room but great customer service
Something in room overheating - it was like a sauna.
Aircon unit not working and road too noisy to open windows. But fantastic effort at midnight from front desk staff who let us choose from available empty rooms. Finally, onside way ftom street and with working fan we got some sleep.
Perfect for our group, GREAT location!!
We spent the weekend in London and went to Nottinghill Carnival on Sunday.
We partied all weekend and the location of the hotel was perfect for that as it was close to central London and right around the corner from Notting Hill. We booked the 2 bdrm apartment which was perfect for the 6 of us. It was very clean and spacious.
friendly staff and a clean environment but road outside was loud throughout the night
A clean hotel with friendly staff.
Room was clean and bright and the facilities were good. We were on the third floor and it was very hot. Thankfully a fan was provided. Although we opened the windows we had to shut them again as the traffic from the road outside was loud late into the night.overall a great hotel and would recommend for a short city break.
Lovely room however bathroom and kitchen fixture were loose.
Shower was in need of Re-grouting
This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in.
It is filthy and has a very poor standard of finish. The walls in our room and bathroom were covered in stains, the bathroom sink was barely attached to the wall, the shower would not drain properly and the shower head did not fit its housing. They could not claim a level of service as there was none and breakfast was the most basic and cheapest I have ever experienced. This hotel claims to be a four star yet its rating should be no higher than a two star, I would recommend that you avoid this one.
Searched for accommodation for 2 adults and 2 children for a 2 night stay, this was the 2nd cheapest but offered a 1 bed apartment rather than a room but my expectations werent that high to be honest.
Well as it turned out the room was very comfortable indeed, a large bedroom, large sitting area / bedroom with suitable sofa bed, small kitchen and bathroom. Nicely fitted and clean it was excellent value, added to the fact of secure onsite parking made the stay trouble free. If I had any criticism and I am being picky here but the shower was fine once in but due to how the door folded did make it awkward to get in and out of and breakfast was a bit dull. Adequate though. All in all it was great value for the accommodation and location and would highly recommend.
