Excellent location and good price.
Small room and small bathroom but adequate for 1 night. However there was no closet to hang clothes.
The Judd Hotel
Service on checking in was fine.
Room was the smallest I have ever stayed in. Some old marks of damp but room seemed warm and didn't smell. Felt a little like (I woud imagine) a cell. One small window. Shower/toilets were fine. Breakfast was uninspiring but adequate. Limited cooked options for vegetarians. The phrase 'serves its purpose' springs to mind as it was near my conference venue.
The Judd Hotel
It was very clean but very small, on the 3rd floor which was quite difficult squeezing a large case to get there after a busy day working.
Extremely tiny room which had floor space to only allow one person to move tightly round this cupboard of a bedroom.
The bed base was wooden and built in with a mattress that on one side had springs protruding so had the most uncomfortable night without any sleep . The bed is obviously being used as a seating area as no chair or seating in the room is provided as not enough floor space to accommodate a chair.
The bed is used as a seat to allow the other person to move round the bedroom as not enough space for two people to move around without bumping into each other. Horrendous nights sleep Décor shabby in places with paint chipped on walls . Shower water trickled and was luke warm throughout our stay. The room was and is marketed as a double room but was certainly only for a single person. and paying nearly £200 for this nights stay night and to have this experience left us feeling very let down and totally over charged.
Left it late booking a stay for my night in London, as a result had ver little choice.
The room was small, very small and unfortunately the tv didn't work. However it was clean, the breakfast was good and it served its purpose.
The Judd Hotel
Very late booking.
Good clean room. Very good value including breakfast.
The hotel was booked as part of a treat for a 18th birthday celebration for my friends daughter.
I emailed the hotel on the Wednesday prior to arrival to ask if anything could be done as a surprise for her when we arrived. The email was read but no acknowledgement of either not able or able to provide anything, on arrival I was disappointed no acknowledgement had been made reference my request and not even the staff acknowledged that. As paying a considerable amount of money at what I thought was a decent hotel their attention to detail was disappointing. The breakfast was nice and adequate but basic in its range. Even though the triple room had a sofa bed it was comfortable enough
Lovely room for a last minute booking
We had a great stay here - the room was over the road from the building with the main reception, which wasn't a problem for us.
The room was spotless and we would definitely stay here again.
Short weekend break
Short weekend break in London to catch a show for the weekend and thought we would book somewhere with a little character.
The pictures on here for the Judd are definitely misleading. We were put in the rafters of the 3rd floor in a room you couldn't swing a cat in. Very crampt - room just about fits a double bed with a small gap of walking space. Room hasn't been decorated since the 60's and musty. Bathroom thankfully was fairly modern and clean. Air con didn't seem to do a thing and the room was always extremely warm, sometimes uncomfortably. The staircase to the 3rd floor also has a couple of broken steps... someone will go through them soon. Breakfast was good and staff polite, friendly and helpful.
Very handy location to Euston station. Would I book it again. No. I would stay at the hotel around the corner. Thankfully we were so busy we didn't have to spend much time at the hotel.
The place is clean and silent and very close to the main train station.
Only little problem the night I stayed: no hotwater for the shower... In the morning it was ok
