The pub is a quaint old place in a really interesting old village.
We went for a walk and found the lovely NT watermill, close by the canal and water meadows. Helped a barge through the lock, pushing the lock gates open and offering advice. All great fun. Had an excellent pie and pint at the other (livelier) pub in the village before wandering back for bed. Excellent fried breakfast in morning.
Quiet, accessible, wifi.
Lovely character property, great hosts, great food.
