Very nice place to stay but terrible disorganized customer service
What a lovely place to stay.
Very clean, great atmosphere, bar and restaurant. I would definitely like to stay again. Beautiful location and very relaxing.
The only bad points sadly was the customer service. The staff were not welcoming at the reception during check in, and in the morning on check out they still only had a night porter on at 8:30am, no reception until 9am who couldn't speak English so hard to understand. Where are the reception staff as people check out, it's meant to be a hotel as well as a village. The bar staff were very nice the night before and helpful, this is separate to the hotel
The Sat Nav will take you up a farmers road, could be better sign posted off the main road. This is only a note, but I wasn't the only car turning around in the farmers road, clearly he can not be enjoying this..
Last minute stay in south lakes
Hotel staff very friendly.
Especially reception staff and breakfast staff. Unfortunately the night we ate in restaurant the waiting staff and bar person appeared very disorganised. The meal was out standing tho. Plenty to choose from at a reasonable price. The pool was really nice, but unfortunately we couldn't get the jacuzzi to work, we did mention it to reception, but she didn't seem that's bothered. I had a massage treatment on my stay, and I have to admit it was one of the best deep tissue massages I've had, fully reccomended. We would stay here again but would request room 210 as this was an a lovely big spacious room, and the bed could have slept 4 people !.
