Found a half eaten apple on the floor aswell as a few odd bits of rubbish, horrible smell in the bathroom constantly, before I used it.
Other guest where very loud be in not the hotels fault. We came back to room 'cleaned' didn't change sheets on bed 2 guests and only received 1 towel at a time.
Staff very friendly and approachable couldn't fault the staff at all, unfortunately we will not be staying at this hotel again.
WELCOME TO PLYMOUTH
We took over our room after arriving by train, in the middle of the afternoon.
The bed was well made and looked very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless as was the toilet. We were also pleased to see that the white towels were of a good size. My wife needed a hairdryer and when we spoke to ANN at the Reception, we were immediately given one which, I understand, worked very well. The Hotel was situated at the bottom of the city and within walking distance of the Hoe,buses and a good choice of places to eat. Our room, which was pleasantly warm, overlooked the City but we heard little noise. We had tea and coffee facilities in the room and the television worked well although we watched very little as we were out and about visiting the area and surrounding towns during out stay. Our only critisism is that the edges of the carpets had not seen a hoover for some time and as the carpet was dark, the dust really showed up - shame really. The people in Reception were very pleasant and we had excellent service from ANN who seemed to be on duty whenever we needed help. Thank you Ann....
