A bit gloomy

The lady who checked us in was miserable, not welcoming at all.

The lady who we have our keys to when we went out for the evening was miserable. No manners from either. The barman who served us when we bought some crisps at about 3.30 am was miserable and couldn't say please or Thankyou. Obviously the staff here are very unhappy. The only staff member who was polite and gave us a lovely smile was the night reception man who gave us our keys when we returned from our night out.

The room was ok. Beds were comfy. Needed a table for the kettle as this was just plonked next to the television. Random picture of Marilyn Monroe above the bed. The rest of the hotel seemed very dark and gloomy. Not a very inviting place. Have stayed in much nicer hotels in London for the same or less money.
