Royal Overseas League Hotel
I was at the Royal O L for one overnight stay on Sunday, 13/11, I loved the room looking straight over to the castle.
The food and service were very good so I'm going back tonight (Weds 16/11)for my last two nights in the city. Convenient location for attractions and shopping. We'll priced for the location. I'm going back, why wouldn't YOU go?
One Night in Edinburgh.
I was coming to Edinburgh for a talk at the Book Festival in Charlotte Square, but since It'd be a late finish I decided to find accommodation - rather than make a mad dash for the last train home, and potentially get stranded if I missed it.
My criteria were - easy walking distance of the venue (I've got bad knees and a dodgy ankle, a hotel rather than hostel, and breakfast in the morning. The Royal Over-Seas League ticked all the boxes perfectly. The staff members were polite and courteous. I'd gladly stay again at some point in the future.
