Tudor Lodge Hotel
Tudor Lodge Hotel
Executive room away from the main hotel but had a kitchenette microwave etc.
Could have done with a bigger TV for size 9f room. Grouting around bath was a little grubby and although bed was king-size, it was actually 2 single beds pushed together so went down the middle at one point but that's just me being picky. Room was of good size with an ironing board and hair dryer so pretty much had all we needed for our stay. Was scaffolding around the building during our stay which couldn't be helped but did spoil somewhat. The ascetic of the building which behind it all was very quaint. Breakfast was good with plenty available at the hot buffet but would have liked the option of fried eggs as well as the wet scrambled eggs on offer. All in all a nice hotel with a comfy room and hearty breakfast and would definitely stay again.
very overpriced for what it was.
they even wanted to charge extra for a travel cot, which seems absurd to be when you are paying £140 a night for a family room. I'd rather stay in a £29 travelodge room with a free cot. the room was spacious with a kitchenette. the bathroom could have done with modernisation but the sheets and towels were clean and the bed comfy so we survived. the breakfast was great though.
My husband and I have just returned from an overnight stay at Tudor Lodge.
This was our second stay at the lodge, the first just over a year ago was very pleasant and catered for our every need - hence our repeat booking. Unfortunately this time round has not been quite so pleasing, mainly due to ignorance of the lodges receptionist. After a comfortable nights sleep to our dismay we had no hot water in the bathroom. Therefore simply reported this issue to the lady on the front desk and presumed it would be addressed. During our breakfast the receptionist confirmed the issue was now sorted whilest drying her hands on some tissue at our table, with this in mind we returned to our room to use the facilities and prepare for our check out then the drive home. The hot water was not back on in our bathroom, it was still cold so back down to reception we went. We again reported the problem and expressed that it was unacceptable to not have any hot water for the duration of our stay. The same lady at the reception desk proceeded to tell us that we did have hot water as she had checked it. My husband and I felt rather embarrassed at the fact we had been made to look as though we was not being truthful, so we decided to stop the conversation due to the fact other guests were present in the lobby at the time. We checked out from Tudor Lodge knowing that the full amount had been taken from our account for what we now describe as an unpleasant stay.
Review July 2016
Have stayed here before and good value for a hotel with easy access to London.
Only slight gripe is having to pay £7.90 for wi-fi in the room and then the voucher only allows you to use it one 1 device. Did not actually eat at the hotel so able to comment on food quality but good pub within 5 minutes walk with food and sport on TV.
Lot of money for what we got.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, but in all honesty the hotel needs some investment.
We stayed in room 19 which unfortunately was small, not particularly clean and very dated. Outside our room was the smoking area which wasn't a problem in itself, but in places, it was more like a building site, with holes in the decking, the furniture dirty, and in one spot there seemed to be a pile of rubble as a special feature. Disappointed really, but it served its purpose for the one night - I wouldn't stay there again though. £89 for one night B & B - I hope they re-invest it wisely.
I was disappointed in the size of the room.
It was also in need of some repair.
Lovely place would highly recommend.
Rooms were clean, breakfast was amazing and only 10 minutes from the tube. Well worth the price we played.
Very nice accommodation.
Excellent for easy access to London.
Free parking, walking distance to the underground (10mins) plenty of places to eat in Pinner. As a bed and breakfast you can't beat it.
excellent value for money, great breakfast
