Disabled Bedroom

This is the first time we have stayed here.

My husband is disabled and in a wheelchair, the access to the hotel and rooms were excellent, although the disabled toilet in the pub/restaurant is in the most awkward place possible to gain access. It in a corner, there is a pillar to negociate and impossible room inside to move around with a wheelchair, it was a struggle. On a positive side the disabled bedroom was clean, spacious and fully equipped for our needs. I would advise management to take the castors off the bed as when my husband, who has had a stroke, tried to sit on the edge of the bed it was moving away from him. The disabled room is above reception and we didn't sleep well due to what sounded like a door banging throughout the night. Would I stay here again, yes i would, but bring ear plugs.
