Nice hotel but needs updating

We stayed last Saturday for a family party nearby.

It's a beautiful hotel and the staff were very friendly. It was £129 for a family room but the bathroom was quite dated, grouting on tiles were shabby and looked like it needs a overhaul. My brother had an executive room. A double & 2 twin beds but a nicer bathroom. Lovely breakfast the next morning. We then visited the pool, the changing rooms were freezing with the Aircon on & that was before we got wet. I did notice some hair around the poolside but didn't pay attention showers etc. There were 2 weddings on that evening and we had 2 walk through bar of one of them to get to our room. It felt like we were intruding. I would stay again but wouldn't pay those prices.
