Please don't try this accommodation
I am a regular commuter due to the location of my work.
I stayed at St George's Lodge, Woking (GU24 0PA) for two nights. I was embarrassed. I never had such a poor customer service before. I booked a room for two nights. The receptionist (I forgot asking her name, a ridiculously worst quality of customer service skill) called me, asking please pack your bag. I had stayed one night in the same room, which means I had another night in the same room and I already paid full at my first arrival. I had another two night booking here in succession. Even though I had to move a different room, I think it's common sense that hotel must be aware of my check-out (11 am) and contact me to move out my belongings on the early day of the checking out. Here the reception is placed somewhere hidden. You probably spent time finding it. If you arrive at night, you may not find it, such a countryside remote area.
What's the worst is that there was no cleaning service of my room at all, my duvet, bed, bin, tower stayed as I used last night. I rang to the reception and she tried to justify the reason. It was because she had waited other customers who was scheduled to check-in. Does this accommodation have only one staff for work. There is no reason that there is no clean room even though I stayed 2 night successively. I have never had such a ridiculously poor service in any quality accommodation before.
Please re-think of booking this accommodation, even if it's a cheap deal, you don't want to feel embarrassed by such a bad quality. It's very rural and you must be aware that you may have no clean room. Please be care of choosing this accommodation. I may warn you. Thanks for reading.
Ideal for anyone shooting at Bisley with distance to travel
The Lodge is overnight accommodation so think place to rest your head for a night function.
The location is in the heart of Bisley Camp and is aimed at Shooters, the rooms have gun lockers etc, however anyone may book a room. The camp holds a series of non shooting events in summer so ideal for that type weekend, our stay was a cold wet January and warm etc in room. The lodge is basic and the very important point this is not a hotel, If you want a hotel then this is the wrong offer. This is club accommodation so you need understand the context of the offer. However once you get over that then if you need a cost effective place to rest this is a little gem. The rooms are large twin double beds with everything you need for an overnight head rest.
