Friendly hotel in a friendly community
The hotel is easily accessible from the Heads of the Valleys main road and within a moderate walking distance (1.3 miles) of Rhymney station.
I stayed her because Cardiff hotel prices are sky high when there are international matches and I wanted somewhere from which I could reach Cardiff by public transport. I was pleased with my choice and am happy to recommend the hotel.

I was upgraded so the room was very spacious, en-suite adequate but could not master the shower controls to get a hot shower.
No shampoo or shower gel supplied. tea and coffee in the room but very little milk. Bed was not very comfortable with very thin pillows!!. No TV in the bar.
