A clean and tidy room, good location, breakfast ok, BUT....music was played loud until very late, I had to get dressed and go down to the bar at 12.15 to ask what time the music finished, there was only 6 people in the bar and the music was very loud .
I was told "You are in a pub you know" !. not a great response, the second night was quieter, but no apology or a mention when we left, I would,nt stay there again.
Tal-y don't hotel
We did not think this accommodation, was worthy of the 80 pounds a night charged..
The room needed freshning up with new light decor, we found it dark and dinjie. The toilet stank the room out and we had to keep the ensuite door shut, all the time as it smelt of rotting meat!. Plus there was flickering light over the shower like astrobe lighting had to have a shower in the dark, as I had a severe (hemiplegic migraine seizure ). I felt very I'll and panic stricken. Having to shower in the dark made it impossible, as the shower on,/off button kept popping off and needed repairing. Finally I tried together out of the side entrance which I was told to use, this was a fire escape, which was not lit,and I nearly had to kick the door it was stuck fast,to take my dogs out in the morning!!it needs checking!!.!!!.
