one night stay
the room was clean and tidy, however the bed was terrible, dint get much sleep, thin mattress and very squeaky, if either of us turned the noise would wake us both, also shower door wouldn't shut from inside so we had to get in shower and the other had to lift door to close (I did report this) bathroom extractor not working so we set alarm off too, booked our table in advanced for saturday night and sunday lunch in advanced, to find double booked sunday and couldn't sit in restaurant area (had to walk passed a congested bar to get to our table), however food was good including breakfast, I won't be returning in a hurry
Warm and Friendly
After a long and difficult journey due to traffic problems we were made to feel very welcome.
The room was small and the bathroon snug but it was a light and airy room with a very comfortable bed. We had a very good meal and the prices for both food and drink very reasonable. We had an early start the following morning but the lndlady was able to provided us with a cooked breakfast before they normally started. Highly recommended,
