Excellent hotel, staff very pleasent and helpful with a smile on there faces.
Food excellent and a good choice on menu's. Breakfast also excellent. Our room was on the dark side but as we were only sleeping in it, it didn't matter. Location to Woking and RHS Wisley very good but roads are terrible.

Room very small
My son and I had an overnight stay whilst golfing.
Staff were excellent. They really were well trained
The room was small and a guy was snoring next door which we could hear
The shower worked but did fall apart and the bathroom door wild not close
The bathroom is tiny
Comfortable beds. It was good value for money. I would stay here again for the venue and staff but try for a bigger bathroom
Attic room was very dark, musty & cramped.
One side of double bed against a wall. Difficult to get to the small window because the tv was placed in front of it. There were good tea & coffee facilities. Toilet flush not working properly, when we mentioned this at check- out, receptionist appeared disinterested. There was no lift & it was quite a climb with heavy cases. Hot buffet breakfast had been under the lamps too long and was dried out. Cold buffet adequate. Night porter deserves a mention as he was cheerful & helpful.
Checking out took a long time and were short of that.

The room was so small I could not get a chair near the desk.
I had to work sitting on the edge of the bed. The only space big enough to open my case was on the bed, if it was on the floor you could not open the wardrobe or bathroom doors.
The breakfast was dried out it looked like it had been standing for hours.
The room was ok , decor carpets dated and worn breakfast poor
Our second stay at the hotel.
Worth every penny. Excellent service and excellent food.
Lovely setting but Lodge Rooms a little tired
Excellent value compared with others in the area and a beautiful main building and grounds.
Interesting history too. However, the room in the lodge was showing signs of stress with a worn carpet and stains on the bathroom door and mantelpiece that could easily have been removed. The constant noise from heating unit in outbuilding adjacent led to a fairly restless night. Breakfast, at a reduced price of £12 pp was reasonable but had been sitting on the hotplate for some time leading to dried bacon and tomatoes. Fruit etc was fine but the coffee was presumably left over from the days when the property was used as a British railways training establishment. Never mind, the overall stay was fine and staff very helpful.
Was a lovely quiet stay and the staff were very polite and helpful.
