Room was cold no heating in the bathroom.
Our room had recently been refurbished and was of a good standard, but I understand that some others were poor. Only had breakfast but food was fair.
No mat in the bath made our showers hairy (both of us in the eighties). Good value for money.
Value for money
Very good value for money.
Stayed here a few times in rooms downstairs.we were put upstairs this time .
The room wasn't very clean .the furniture was dirty & dropping to bits .to top it off there was a karaoke on which lasted from 7.30 until about 11.30pm.my husband & I went for a break & abit of peace..all we heard was music blaring & people screaming.had I been told of karaoke I would never of stayed there
Great stay, value for money, good location, helpful staff, all round thumbs up.
We needed somewhere to stop over on our way north and the Highfield was perfect.
The staff were fantastic, the food was great value and the beer was tasty.
Great place to Stay and close to Centre of Town
Excellent value for money and service
As I only paid £18 for my room I can't really complain as it included free parking and breakfast.
My only negative comment is that The rooms and hallways are a little dated and therefore have a slight old smell, however this didn't affect my stay.
Just great stay and brilliant location for town centre and riverside football ground.
Stayed here for one night and found the staff very helpful and also in a good location within a 15 minute walking distance to the town centre and football stadium.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a one night stay away on a cheap budget.
Lovely and clean hotel.
Staff is very friendly will definitely be staying again.
