A Brief Overnight Stay
The Mason's Arms was excellent in a nutshell!.
Our room was excellent, the evening meal was excellent as was the breakfast in the morning. The staff and management were friendly and efficient so all in all a very good find on laterooms!!. Would definitely return to this lovely place!.
Excellent room, in a lovely pub in a beautiful location.
All the staff were welcoming and helpful. A lovely evening meal, and a very fine breakfast - such a perfect start to a Sunday morning. As ever it was a struggle to leave. Couldn't fault the pub or the staff.
Absolutely loved this place
A quiet, relaxing retreat in a lovely setting, friendly atmosphere and great facilities.
Spacious room, comfortable bed, modern bathroom and plenty of hot water. The service was great, staff very friendly and efficient, food was delicious and all the little extras that make you feel looked after. Didn't want to leave!
The Masons Arms
A brilliant place to stay.
Everyone so friendly, room spacious and very comfortable, food superb!
Was given a free upgrade to their holiday cottage and I can honestly say that it was the best overnight stay I've ever had with work.
The food was amazing and reasonably priced and they even brew and sell their own beer. I cant wait to visit Somerset again - I'll be staying here.
The room, service and staff are excellent.
Pretty pub in lovely small village
Clean, neat rooms in pretty thatched pub in small village, handy for A303 with lots to see and do within half hour journey.
Beautiful accommodation set in a rural and peaceful location with views over the fields.
Well appointed rooms with complimentary water and beer in the rooms fridge which was very welcome after a 4 hour drive, thank you :). Breakfast was varied and the eggs in particular were the best I have ever had. High standard of food served all round, although the triple hand cooked chips, delicious as they were, seemed to feature in many of the dishes. The staff were friendly, helpful and in good spirits, a special mention and a big thank you to Andy who booked us in for an extra night when I realised I had under booked by one night, ooops!!. The garden is quiet and bathed in afternoon sunshine, perfect for a relaxing hour or two. Only down side is the bar closes at 3.30 and opens again at 6, so if you want to enjoy a drink in the sunshine, stock up your fridge. The wifi didn't quite reach our room but, even with a teenage daughter, didn't cause any problems. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay here and are looking forward to our next visit.
