I wish I had read the reviews beforehand.

Cracked floors, carpets that have creases in them, room doors that have locks that don't work, bathrooms that have mould in them and thick layers of cobwebs on the extractor, fire alarm going off at 8 am due to a staff member opening a door, plug on the kettle came apart as I plugged it in, bed nearly collapsed when I was in it. Is that enough for you. Take this hotel off your site for your own sake, and your customers

Disgusting ( so grubby, it made my skin creep )

This hotel is dirty, grubby, unkept.

It's given itself three stars, it's not even worth a one star. There is stains on the walls, there is stains on the carpet. The tiles in the bathroom are falling off & there is mould around the bath, the furniture is old & scruffy, the head board has two massive holes in it from where people's heads have rubbed up against it. I booked a twin room & got a double with a wonky fold up bed thrown in the middle of the room. The wardrobe was unusable because it was full of junk. Unfortunately I had to stay two nights here & on the second night I had the do not disturb sign on my door, only to have reception come banging on my door to ask if they could come in & retrieve some equipment out of the wardrobe. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. It looks nothing like the pictures, these where probably taken when it was new, 30 years ago, now there is not a single tile in reception that isn't broken or damaged in some way. I would highly recommend NO ONE should stay here.

Posh foyer

We arrived quite late in the evening so all was in darkness.

The hotel foyer is modern and pretty flashy. The room however was a little tired. Old fashioned furniture and historic metal windows. Yet the bathroom was ok. Breakfast was not at all bad.

Did not stay a second night....

I can live with a dirty, filthy and mouldy room, no problem, lights and television did not work - no problem, nothing to complain for less than £50, BUT people coming in my room in the middle of the night is something I cannot deal could they get another key from reception??.

Booked for 2 nights....left after 1st night....guys + manager at the reception did not find it necessary to say sorry....
