This hotel is in a good location, close enough to Cardiff, but in a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Breakfast was good, although not a great selection of cereals. Free parking was a bonus. Would use this hotel again.
Overnight pit stop
We always book here if stopping in Cardiff.
Room is clean. Bed linen and towels spotless. Plenty of tea and coffee in room. Staff on reception always polite and helpful.
Park Inn by Radisson Cardiff North
I stay away quite a lot, but won't be going back.
The staff here are excellent, but despite having all the normal fixtures and fitting, the place feels cold and old and smells damp in the two rooms I stayed in. (I moved from the first room due to a sewage smell). There was mould spots in the bathroom and the rooms have barely any light. An all round dark and dingy feel. Apart from the room sizes being quite big, it feels like an old nursing home has been converted. Breakfast was good and the best part of the hotel, but you would be much better with a prem inn or even a travel lodge. I booked this hotel on the day of staying and they had more than 20 room free, so I don't think I am the only one who would not return.
Despite arriving much later than anticipated, we received a very friendly and relaxed reception and booking in was made very easy.
The room was great being a good size and uncluttered, but with all the essentials one could require. The shower facilities were first class, other than not having a bath (not of course an issue for most people) but I was aware of this beforehand. Also a later than usual check-out time of 12 noon, which was excellent for a more relaxing start to the day. Many thanks for a great stay :-)
Will deffinatley be returning again
Nice clean rooms, polite and efficient staff, brilliant value for money will deffo be coming back soon
So pleased with our room.
Asked for disabled facilities when booking, & got them. Bathroom superior. Loads of surfaces to put stuff !. Very unusual for a hotel bathroom. Lots of safety features
If I have to make any negative comments, then because I walk with a wheeled frame then the distance to walk to the room was slightly difficult, especially the steep incline from reception. Also we were only issued with 2 toilet rolls that had very few leaves left on them. Surprised there wasn't a replacement. Fire doors outside room in corridor made a lot of noise from people coming & going in the night
Choice of eggs at breakfast was scrambled only, but after we'd finished we noticed people asking for alternatives. Wish we'd known. We're vegetarians & therefore couldn't 'fill up' on bacon & sausages . But all that did not take away from the superior room & the extremely pleasant & helpful staff. We'd recommend the hotel highly
Could do with updating
Stayed for one night to go to a concert at Cardiff City Stadium- and it appeared so were all the other guests.
Staff on Reception were very friendly and helpful in arranging taxi etc. Had to pay extra for breakfast which in view of the price for the room, we thought this should have been included. Breakfast was fine though. Room was adequate- clean and quite comfortable but could do with a lick of paint and new carpet. Public areas need freshening up as very tired and dated- could do with new carpets and an outside seating area.

Very pleasant stay definitely use again.
Staff very helpful and friendly
Great place to stay, would definitely stay again.
Staff very friendly and helpful, asked for some extra pillows and had them in seconds. Only criticisms are that the bed was little harder than preferred (but not everyone likes a soft bed) and that the breakfast wasn't on for long enough.
