The Principal Manchester

The hotel has recently been refurbished and it has been done beautifully.

The rooms were immaculate and had nice little touches like bottled water and fresh milk in the fridge. On arrival the receptionist upgraded us to a deluxe room as it was my partners birthday which I thought was a lovely touch. The only thing that wasn't perfect was that the bathroom only had one bath towel for the two of us and no bath mat, so this was something we had to chase up, but it was rectified promptly. Really cannot fault this hotel. We will definitely be visiting again.

Stayed in double room which was very large and clean.

Bathroom excellent

Shame the room was behind railway line as was disturbed by trains during the night.

Excellent Customer Service

The hotel staff were very quick to remedy a mix-up with our booking and offered to refund the pet supplement we had paid, as well as providing some doggie treats and vouchers for free drinks in the hotel bar.

Quite unexpected but very much appreciated.

Lovely hotel next to the Palace Theatre

This is a fabulous building that is well looked after & the rooms are lovely.

The staff are helpful & there are plenty of added extras to make your stay even nicer. It is ideally located for the Palace Theatre. I was disturbed by the noise of the trains but I am a light sleeper. The only grumble from my friend & I was we had difficulty ordering a tray of tea after a night at the theatre, to sit somewhere around the foyer, & we were charged a staggering £4.50 per pot. Regrettably we could have gone to our rooms to make it ourselves. Otherwise v happy to recommend!
