Disturbed night sleep

The smeel of cigarettes hit us when we reached the 3rd floor which was not pleasant.

When we entered the room we could hear the room next door playing music and shouting and we were level with the busy road outside. We asked to move and the staff were very good and gave us 2 new rooms opposite. Problem solved I thought. The loutish behavior from the room (now opposite) continued well into the night. At 4am security told them to be quiet and threatened to ask them to leave if it continued, they were then asked to be quiet again at 4.30am. At 5.30 as I was still awake because of the noise I phoned reception and asked them to do something about the noise - but nothing and the occupants of the room continued to shout and argue until we went down for breakfast at 8.30. I guess some people just dont need to sleep. The beds were only doubles which is pretty unusual these days and very basic bathroom without toiletries only basic soap. All in all a very disappointing experience.

Great hotel

Very happy with our stay, no complaints from us, all round excellent service, very clean and comfortable.

Friendly and helpful staff very efficient check in and check out and when we needed the cot replacing it was replaced when we returned to the hotel.

When we ordered food the staff gave us plates and cutlery they even supplied us with sellotape to wrap our Xmas presents.

We were welcomed with a smile.

Reception Staff were friendly and polite. Pleased dog was able to stay with us. Room was clean comfortable and warm with all the amenities needed. Only downside was pressure on shower was not very strong, although water was hot. Bathroom was clean and bright. Hairdryer was good touch

OK for Chain Hotel - Clean but not amazing

The hotel is clean and fairly well maintained.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Fine if you want a quick stay with no frills. Downside is breakfast is pretty poor and pillows not great. We stayed at a peak time so it wasn't very cheap and so didn't feel it was great value for money. But overall it's not bad.
