Room hadnt been cleaned.

found tv remote under bed. spot of blood on top sheet. toilet roll had been well used before we got there.

Great hotel beside the airport and for getting to the NEC

The hotel was great, with a really good breakfast and good room service.

It couldn't have been better placed for getting to an event at the NEC with the free and frequent monorail. The staff were all friendly and helpful, I would definitely stay here again and it would be my first choice for anything at the NEC.

Novotel Birmingham Airport

Went for breakfast was self service cooked option.

Can't say it was amazing food but filled a hole. Then I asked for the bill £16:49 REALLY if it was £5 acceptable but no more. Real shame as rest was as should be. Lesson learned don't order unless you know the price !!. Sort this out Novotel and you have a great place left me feeling gutted as could have got in airport half the price twice the quality. !!

Great stay

The only complaint is the music in the lounge was a little too techno and loud (for lack of a better word).

It would have been ok a little later in the evening and if it were a younger group of people.

Great Service to a "No Show"

Due to a mix-up in the booking, we arrived two days after our reservation...

We arrived at 9pm in the evening with two tired children (both under 3). The lady at reception not only dealt with us promptly, but ensured we quickly secured a room at another hotel and helped us get our children and our luggage safely to that hotel. She then ensured we were fast tracked through check-in at the new hotel. Exceptional service and really appreciated by two tired parents (one of who had made the mistake in the first place) and two tired children. I only wish I had got her name. Thanks Novotel for helping to correct my mistake.

Back again

I have stayed here a few times.

I have always had a good experience. The staff are welcoming and efficient. The convenience to the airport for early departures and late arrivals makes the stay worth every penny!

not clean

There was mold in the shower, the toilet did not flush right, food scattered on the carpet, paper on the floor under the desk, the carpet looked dirty and in need of a good cleaning.

Over all the room looked like it had not been cleaned.
