New Year's Eve Stay
Booked late, so limited choice of hotels available, fully aware of NYE inflated prices, but very expensive for area.
Would be interested to see normal rates. Hotel is clean, staff pleasant, rooms are OK, bit on the dark side, with tinted mirrors. Breakfast was excellent, hot food well cooked, restaurant a bit dark (personal opinion, I like natural light).Tea/coffee/water milk provided in room fridge, nice touch, and a decent hairdryer for ladies. Location - we're fairly familiar with the city, although an easy walk to everything, hotel is a bit out on it's own. I would suggest more 3* than 4*. Possibly stop again if struggling to get accommodation, but wouldn't be my first choice.
Overall, reasonable hotel, if the price is right and location is not your top priority.
Great hotel great for city centre and docks all our needs met great staff
We stayed here for our first wedding anniversary as we loved our first stay here.
I organised flowers on arrival which were in the room and the hotel went one better by also providing bubbly and a lovely desert with happy anniversary on the plate. They also provided red rose petals in the shape of hearts on the bed which was a real lovely gesture. The apartment room we stayed in was amazing and made our stay so perfect. We would recommend the Richmond Liverpool to anyone, the stay here is always amazing and what a fantastic City.
Liverpool Get together
The Richmond apart-hotel is ideal for couples wishing to spend time together and still have their privacy.
We were able to relax with some home cooking on the second evening which gave us chance to catch up, which was the idea of the weekend.
Two nights in liverpool
We found the hotel room very clean it helped having it newly decorated and updated.
The breakfast was ok nothing to shout about staff very helpful and enjoyed Liverpool very much
I would recommend The Richmond to anyone.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely room and the breakfast was top quality in a very pleasant dining room. The location is very convenient for all the venues in the dock area. A very enjoyable experience all round.
We had room 511, a junior suite, it was a stunning room with a balcony well worth paying the extra.
Breakfast was plentiful fresh and very well cooked.
Good accomodation. Average Food.
very nice hotel.
Some staff are great , others were a bit lax. For the price the quality of the food was a tad poor. Average breakfast, average room service etc. Good location. Spacious room. Great TVs (never thought I would say that about any TV). I'd stay again.
City Centre Stay
This is an old hotel building with big open staircases and corridors.
However, the rooms have been recently modernised and there is little to complain about. For a city centre stay it is better than the big national chain business hotel where Lenny stays both on room quality and value for money. I am fussy about clean beds and bathrooms everything else is added bonus. Bathroom and bed were good so was the 50 inch telly. Room was heated/cooled with air-con which was a little noisy through the night but not enough to spoil my stay. I only ate breakfast which was buffet. All good but it would have been better with some special orders for those who don't do a fry up every day. There was continental stuff there too but some extras for me would have raised the score. Not a bad place to stay at all.
The richmond is very nice hotel it is within walking to the centre of Liverpool.
The rooms are clean tidy the breakfast is help yourself so you can have as much as you like.
