Bar area lovely lots of memories as been there lots of times but ai did find rooms in need of complete.
Refurbishment as room 3 had ceiling paper hanging down and curtains not fitted correctly also toilet. Seat hanging off and a slight touch brings the shower rail down. I know you get what you pay for but I think such a lovely pub/hotel. Needs some TLC comments below are if refurbished
Let's start with the positives:
1)Bar staff/check in staff (young man) was amazing. All smiles, all polite. Don't know whether he has any personal connection with the business, but if he doesn't keep him close. He's a good cookie. 2)Pleasant green space in the rear. While it was not kept properly the ability to smoke and enjoy the coffee early in the morning in the back yard it was good. 3)Free parking. Not a lot of hotels can claim points 2 and 3. Now the negatives... 1) Rude cleaning lady. After our first night (when we went to bed late and were very tired!!), she came banging on our door. Long....and hard, because, well, we were tired and didn't hear her from the get go. When I opened no "Hello", no smile, no sorry, no nothing. "Check out is 11:00. Now it's 11:30!". Explained to her that we had 2 nights booked, when really I was not the one supposed to do that sort of explaining. 2)Tidy, but not really clean. Black hairs on the bed, when neither me nor my partner has dark hair. 3)Bulb not working at the bathroom. Shouldn't have to check for that myself. 4)Remote broken. Not very expensive to replace. 5)Generally outdated. 6) Hallways and other communal areas in a very urgent need of a fresh paint. 7) Dirty bags of laundry kept right in front of our room. Overall not completely terrible, but not really good either.
Of course, we paid just £30.00 per night(which is cheap for London), but when you weigh it up against Travelodge's £29.00 that we paid afterwards, they are miles away in terms of quality and comfort. It goes above my comprehension why their prices at the moment or near future aren't dropping under £50.00, the highest I have seen so far being £70.00. This is NOT a £50-£70.00/night hotel and definitely not a 3 stars hotel as advertised.
The staff were so friendly & helpful & made you feel very welcome, cause of the age of the hotel everything is old (specially the floor boards) the location of the hotel & the price you pay is amazing if you going to Wembley stadium.
Very happy with my stay
This is accommodation above a pub.
You probably should honeymoon somewhere else. However, if you want a clean room, convenient location at a great price, look no further. Really friendly and helpful as well. Happy to recommend . K
A nice value hotel handy for Wembley and into London.
Will stay again will eat there this time.
good clean basic accommodation
good clean basic accommodation reasonable price very close to Wembley stadium
Very nice room in great location
We arrived earlier than the scheduled check in time and the room was ready.
The outside of the hotel is a bit run down but the room was lovely. The room was spacious with a tv, fridge and tea/coffee facilities. The bathroom was large and clean. The beds were really comfortable and as the hotel is at the top of a hill the view from the window was great. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The only slightly minus point is that the floorboards are noisy.
The location is excellent, London Designer Outlet is a 5 minute walk and Wembley Stadium train station is a 10 minute walk. It only takes around 10 mins on the train to reach Marylebone. All in all very happy with the location, accommodation, staff and price. Will definitely stay there again!
Great Hotel Convenient For Wembley
We just stayed for one night.
The staff were really friendly. Allowed me to check in at 11:15 which was great as I had to get off to meet someone. We didn't eat there so can't comment on food. Myself and my 19 year old son just got our heads down after a great day at Wembley.
The Green Man
Local to Wembley Arena.
Absolutely no frills. Basic, clean - you get exactly what it say on the tin.
The Green Man
Typical wembley pub hotel beds were clean and that was about it filthy carpet, drill holes in walls, lots of mould on the walls, paper peeling off, bathroom walls covered in marks.
