We had a great stay - just one problem.
The headboard and one side of the bed were against the wall which is fine for one person, but when two ancient people are sleeping in the same bed, it is very difficult for the one against the wall to get out in the night to have a wee. I had to scramble over my husband and of course, woke him up. Twice. He was not happy. Do you have any rooms with access on both sides of the bed. Helen.
The Z Hotel Victoria
the hotel should be 5 star.
i felt like i was royalty could'nt of asked for a better weekend.
Cramped but good is short term stay
The quality of this hotel is excellant.
However, if more than one and if you have bulky luggage the space is very very limited. The quality of room fitting is very good. There is air con that is essential as a lot of rooms have no windows so sense of being boxed may be a problem for some. Quallity of food is good and breakfast is reasonalble value if you pre book. Fee wine and cheese between 5-8 is a nice idea and well presented. Staff have always be helpful and positive.
Clean and quiet
Although smaller than I had anticipated the room was clean, comfortable bed and very quiet.
Great Value for money!
Such a lovely little room with all the modern amenities you would expect, that we actually found better than a lot of pricier, higher rated hotels.
Very good tv, and a powerful shower too. Would definitely stay again, and cannot fault a thing. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Bijou but just what was needed!
The Z Hotel was exactly what was needed - a small room, comfortable bed, lovely pillows, ensuite.
The windows do look straight into the building opposite but that's what the curtains are for. The only thing missing for me was a bed side table but a small thing which was easily worked around. The staff at the hotel were charming and the wine and cheese in the evening was a delight and not expected.
Modern, cool central London hotel
We stayed here fairly last minute having decided to extend a trip to London by an extra day after dinner, and so weren't sure what to expect.
I have to say was very pleasantly surprised when we got to the room, it was very modern with flat screen tv, large comfortable bed and an interesting glass bathroom. Would definitely recommend for city breaks.
Great for overnight stay.
Room was well appointed.
very modern and comfortable byt somewhat cramped. In saying that it was fine for an overnight stay.
Wasn't impressed with z hotel Victoria.
We were on the ground floor and the hotel is very close to either a train line or underground so everything you a train goes past you can here it very loudly. Likewise the door to the room wasn't well soundproofed so you could hear very clearly anything happening in the corridor. We were also very unimpressed with the rooms cleanliness as the sheets had two small blood stains on them. That said it was very centrally located and the food was very good with late breakfast times which were a positive. Was a aware that the room would very very small and without a window which was fine for us but not if you were planning to stay for any length length of time. Wouldn't recommend though as it still wasn't exactly cheap and you'd expect more for the price.
