This place is awesome
Room was lovely.
Location, well you just couldnt get better. Great welcome. Will
Return when i get the chance.
The bathroom was covered in mould.
There is a ventilation problem in the room that I stayed with my husband. The other room where my mum and dad stayed did not have mould. There wasn't any toiletries in any room, we needed to ask for shampoo and conditioner which they gave us just shower gel. We paid £99 and £104 per room and we were expecting at least some water to drink and toiletries. Very disappointed with the place.
Innkeeper's Lodge Edinburgh, South Queensferry
The location of the Hotel, view of the iconic Forth Rail bridge, large comfortable spotless clean room, warm welcoming staff and more than adequate breakfast all together ensured our brief visit was such a memorable one.
Thank you. Liz and Ewan Jones.
Great location, friendly staff, 15 minute drive to Edinburgh Airport!
We stayed just one night in South Queensferry and left very early the next morning - too early for breakfast.
Really lovely girl who checked us in sorted out a breakfast tray which was great. Parking is immediately behind the Innkeeper's Lodge/Hawes Inn. Lovely walk into South Queensferry. Great location to reach Edinburgh Airport, missing the bridge traffic.
Good hotel poor service
This hotel has pleasant rooms and dining areas located next to the iconic Firth of Forth bridge.
However, there seems a genuine problem with service and attention to detail particularly when dealing with customers and quests. There seemed to be a lack of direction and understanding of customer care.
Generally fine but with two issues, mildew in the shower cubicle and a very poor cooked breakfast which to my surprise was extra.
microwaved bacon and under cooked sausage.
nice relaxing break
staff were excellent from arrival till departure, location for us was great, room was massive with the best view in the hotel , a couple of cobwebs on the ceiling, but you would need a ladder and a very long hose on the hoover to reach them and they were a minor detail , room was lovely and warm and the trains did not cause any disturbance despite being so close to the railway bridge , you are 10 minutes from edinburgh without the hassle of parking in edinburgh, plenty parking behind the hotel , and the staff make your stay very enjoyable
Second time we have stayed here.
Marvellous location including bagpipes on waking.
Great spot, the hotel was just what I wanted and the staff were friendly.
Excellent accommodation terrific view
We loved this hotel 2 little minor points 1 - we waited 10 minutes to check in as the bar was busy another guest advised the barman that we were waiting to check in he acknowledged us but then went to serve a busy bar then eventually another member off staff came.
2nd - trivial but grouting needs to be replaced on tiles at bottom of shower. Would recommend to others to stay.
