100% would recommend it to a friend
lovely b&b, shame about the service
This is a lovely B and B in a great location, close to Chatsworth and in the heart of the Peak District.
The building was well decorated and the breakfast was very good. The room was small but nice. We were a little disappointed by the owner, she wasn't very friendly or helpful and made interacted with us feel like a chore.
Holly Cottage B&B
We stayed at Holly Cottage in Pilsley for a romantic weekend break and it was everything we wanted.
Pilsley is a quiet, peaceful village tucked away in the middle of nowhere and is fantastic if you want to get away somewhere quiet. The village just has a pub and farm shop and cafe (both really recommended). The accommodation itself was so quaint, clean and nicely decorated. There's only 3 rooms so the owners make you feel really welcome. The breakfast is the best par, Full English (and anything else you want) cooked to perfectioN. All in all one of the best B n B's I have ever stayed in.
Holly Cottage B&B
Well looked after.
We had a lovely stay in this BandB.
The location was superb and picturesque. The room was of high quality, very clean and quiet and lots of little touches we never expected. We enjoyed our breakfast which was of good quality. We were made very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for Sarah. This lovely cottage is very special and We would highly recommend!. We would definitely return.
Quality bed and breakfast
We enjoyed a 2 night stay at this quality B and B, which is in the lovely village of pilsley, very near to chatsworth and some lovely countryside walks.
Very efficiently run with spotless comfortable rooms, and every little detail taken care of. The breakfasts are top notch, as was the coffee and toast. We will definitely return to this one .
Wonderful little cottage on the picturesque Chatsworth Estate
Really can't fault this B&B; beautiful old cottage building hidden away in the tiny village of Pilsbury on the Chatsworth Estate.
Really nicely done up inside, small but perfectly formed room with free tea, coffee, biscuits, water etc, even a torch you can borrow for short evening walks to the excellent local pub. Extra heater laid on for us on arrival as it was a particularly chilly day. Wide range of breakfast options and generous portions too. Well positioned for a number of great Peak District walks - an extremely engaging half hour drive from both Stanage Edge and The Roaches which we covered off in our two days. Highly recommend.
