Comfortable and cosy
The proprietor was quick to move on to the next customer when I had arrived, and it is a shame you have to phone for assistance using own mobiles instead of in-house telephone or bell at reception.
My single room at the front of the property was cosy and comfortable for a one-night stay and the minimalist furnishings pleasant. The property and rooms are currently undergoing renovation but the proprietor has done their best to still make the room accommodating. Convenient for Madeira Drive, seafront and St James's Street, an in-room welcome pack and list of local resources would be useful. I was disappointed that the price did not reflect the inconveniences of shortfalls in need of refurbishment. Would like to experience this place again once finished.
OK Room but cold
The room was acceptable at the price but some heating would have been nice.
only good thing about this hotel is the location
To be honest this is the worst hotel that my girlfriend and I have stayed in , we always book a budget hotel as we just want somewhere to stay after a night out in Brighton.
We are not normally that fussy but do expect a certain standard. The room was small and cold and as with the hotel in great need for a complete makeover . It was not worth the £60 for the night.
