Eden Hotel - Hampshire Eden
We stayed for 4 nights and we were very happy with our stay.
We were out and about most of the time and never had food or drink in the hotel but the room was fine we stayed on the 5th floor. The staff were very helpful and kind. We were very happy with the hotels location and it's very easy to walk to all the main areas but we did enjoy all the bars at the back of the hotel in the square.
A base to see the city from
As I was on my own but had booked a double room, my preference when away.
This was not the type of room the hotel had allocated. I had to get the paper copy of my reservation out and was then given the correct type of room. The position of the hotel was excellent and easy to find when lost as it was opposite the National Opera House. Close to tram stop. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about their city. Room was not large but space in a city is at a premium but better than many. The shower does change temperature quite frequently. There was some noise but this was nothing compaired to the AC unit in the room which was loud. No view from the window but not important as spent very little time in the room apart from sleeping. Overall the position of the hotel and the helpful staff are the main reasons I would return.
It was an excellent stay in a lovely hotel.
Location couldn't have been better and service was great.
The location of the hotel is very good, but the room is tiny and the housekeeping maids are very, very noisy in the morning.
In addition, I must have had the room next to the service entrance as there was a lot of very loud noise very early in the morning.
