Good value etc but no one said anything aboiut the new loyalty bscheme until nI was leaving but yiou can't claim if booked through an agent etc??
Quiet, clean and value for money
Everything was pleasant and no issues at all.
Good location close to city centre and for access to M5 etc.
Need to check lights are all working.
Having a connecting door to next room makes noise transfer a problem.
Thank goodness we were just there to see my son and out all the time.
The room was ok, bathroom poor. All furniture and fixings of poor quality.
When we checked in, the lodge was really noisy as there was a function going on. There was nowhere in the hotel to go and sit as it was taken over by the function so we had to go and sit in our room and have room service. The idea was we could spend time with our son at the hotel but they informed us when checking in they had a wedding on too during our stay. We complained that we weren't told as we wouldn't have booked with them.
We spent no time in the hotel apart from sleeping. We found coffee shops to meet with our son. In the night of the wedding we heard every word of every song in our superior room until midnight. Hated every moment of our stay. We couldn't move as exeter was hosting the rugby so no rooms anywhere else.

Loved having two large separate beds which were very comfortable. Also room temperature just right< shame about the view!
Over night stay Aug 6th.
Hotel was clean and suited our one night stay although it was a Twin room rather than a Double which we would have preferred.
It was very hot in the room with no air-conditioning, there was a fan provided but this was noisy for all night use. The scaffolding outside our bedroom window meant we did not want to leave the window open all night. Breakfast was adequate but was not worth the additional fee of £9.75p.p. On the plus side it has good parking on site and is within walking distance of City Centre which is 20-30 minutes. There are frequent buses from the City that stop outside the Hotel and Taxis cost a fiver to the Quay. On the night we stayed there was a leak in the Hotel Bar from one of the overhead rooms which didn't cause too much disruption as it was a Thursday evening so was not busy. On the whole it was a good experience.
Given a room with connecting door; never good for a single woman travelling alone.
I listened to the BBC news via the TV in the next room. Breakfast not included in rate. On the other hand it is ideally suited for business in the city.

Nice, quiet hotel near city centre
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
It's nicely appointed, with comfortable rooms and very friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast was done to order and very tasty. The cost of the room was less than most motorway chain hotels. We'd definitely come back here again!

Unfortunately our stay was tarnished by damage to our car whilst parked in the hotel car park.
Another guest has scraped our car as they reversed from the space adjacent to ours and had then driven off without reporting the incident to Reception. When my husband went in to Reception to report the incident he was told that several guests had already checked out and it could have been any one of them but there was nothing the hotel could do.
