100% would recommend it to a friend
Staycity Aparthotels Laystall Street
The apartment is great, big & well serviced.
The only bad thing is the noise at night. Some customers seem not to understand the posters asking for a quietness between 10 pm & 7 am. It's a shame.
Staycity Aparthotels Laystall Street
Good but very expensive
I paid probably 50% over the top but this was because Last Minute had messed me about and I needed to book somewhere at a very short notice.
The room was fine and comfortable although noisy as it overlooked 2 busy roads. The location was too far out of the centre for me but that would not be an issue if one was working in or around Piccadilly. Would stay again if the price were closer to £100 than £150.
Home from Home
Stay city Aparthotel Manchester is a first class place to stay for any length of time, anything from 2 nights to 14.
We as a family recently stayed at Staycity Aparthotel for 2 nights and have found that the accommodation is clean, extremely comfortable, and the staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The location is ideal, as it is approximately 10-15 mins walk from Manchester Piccadilly Rail station, I would highly recommend staying at Staycity Aparthotel Manchester as you get value for money, and is family and friend friendly.
Great city centre accomodation
We booked this accommodation as we were getting back together, to watch a band play that we'd all seen as teenage schoolmates.
Location perfect, apartment great - we couldn't have asked for any better service from the staff, from early check-in and upgrade to great advice. A* across the board. I have a feeling we may be back!
Ok for a short stay
Staycity is a good base for those wanting to spend a day or so in the city.
I wouldn't recommend it for the weekends though as the prices are extortionate. For our midweek break we got two nights in 2 bed for £160 which wasn't too bad. The rooms are a bit dated, the floor and work tops hadn't been cleaned, however the bathrooms were spotless and the beds comfortable with very clean bedding. Our room overlooked what looked like a derelict building and there were some questionable noises coming from within there. Also be aware of the car alarms and loading/unloading at the nearby shopping centre - very noisy. Must add, all of the staff were lovely and friendly :) All in all a reasonable stay, just a bit noisy and with a few dirty surfaces!
Really spacious, modern apartment with great views
Icing on the cake after a day of Christmas shopping.
We booked this apartment for our yearly visit to the Christmas Markets.
We usually only go for the day but our family from America were joining us and we wanted to make it an experience to remember. The apartment was absolutely fantastic and the staff couldn't do enough for us. On arrival we were told that they had upgraded us to a bigger apartment free of charge. We were delighted about this and it meant more room to put all of our purchases for the day!. Car park facilities were very secure, £13 overnight and the staff even let us keep the car there the next day whilst we did some more shopping for no extra cost. Overall, we all really enjoyed our stay here and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I would recommend for sure, especially if there is a group of you.
We (6 girls, mid twenties) stayed here for one night as we were wanting a night out in Manchester.
Fantastic apartment suited us perfectly. Really spacious and had everything you needed in it. Apartments also very close to town, 5 minute walk which was perfect for us. Car park, very strange but added a lot of humour to the trip. Will definitely be staying here again.
