Needs an upgrade
Hotel and entrance were very nice.
Hotel is in need of a makeover. Rooms are getting shabby and there was no one st reception a few of the times we went there. We sent an email with photos to them. Very disappointed with our relaxing break, ended up not being relaxing at all. Very stressful and now I need another break. Spa pool was full of kids so the spa wasn't relxing either.
Great hotel - terrible reception
I like Village hotels and this one is no different.
OK one difference, they have adopted an automated check in and out system - no receptionist. I am all for technology but no welcome is disappointing and check out is without an invoice, this is emailed later in the day - hope it is correct as by then you have gone home. I will not use again as I like the personal touch but if you are OK with being a number this is a really nice hotel.
Very nice hotel, quality food.good service and nice spacious room.good spa facilities and friendly staff.Would book to stay again.
It was nice only not happy with kids & breakfast time I asked them 4 times for my tea ??
It was nice lots of things inside the hotel like swimming pool, gym, Costa and golf.
Only don't like likes bed and breakfast time I asked them 4 times for my tea and when o finished then they bring it to me .otherwise everything was OK .
Village hotel stay
This was a great hotel in tranquil surroundings away from the main hustle and bustle of Blackpool.
A half hourly 10 minute bus trip will see you into the town centre with lots to do. The hotel staff were very friendly and seen to everything we asked for. We would definitely stay there again .
Clean but cramped room
Check in was efficient but lacked the personal touch.
The room was clean, modern but felt very cramped. I was travelling with two children and had booked a family room which consisted of one double bed and one single sofa bed. The room itself was quite small so we felt quite cramped.
We were left one set of extra towels which gave a total of two sets for three people. I'm sure if we had asked we could of had another set but as we were there for only one night we made do. We were left one complimentary bottle of water. Breakfast was nice, good choice and plenty available. Unfortunately we were seated in a small alcove and during the forty five minutes we were seated no one came to offer the hot drinks we were told we could order from our waiter.
There was plenty of on site parking at no extra charge as well as a set down area so you didn't have to carry your luggage too far. Overall a clean efficient hotel but in my opinion la is the personal touch.
Village Hotel Blackpool
Fantastic pool area both indoor & outdoor.
Perfect for a getaway with children. Beautiful views overlooking the golf course. Food was just average but like I say nice views. Rooms were very clean so no compliant there. Maybe just need freshening up with a lick of paint. Perfect room for a small family like we were. Would definitely stay again we had a lovely stay. The pool area was definitely the star attraction for us with a little one.
Cannot fault the hotel in any way.
Value for money, extreamly comfortabl bed , and all the facility's you could wish for eg .golf, squash, pool, and gym. Food was good in the main bar , sky sports was available , so only for one night , I would return to have a longer stay in the near future.
Excellent hotel friendly staff very helpful
Everything was great about the hotel facilities were outstanding only downfall was the loud music vibrating round the room until early hours of the morning coming from a wedding would ask to be put on another floor next time.
