The hotel is in a great location with a 15 minute walk into the centre of Oxford.
Great bar with seating outside. Didn't try the restaurant as nothing jumped out on the menu. The spa was ok, the pool was ok but the jacuzzi wasn't working. The steam and sauna rooms looked small so didn't try them but overall a good experience.
The room was nice but I think it was a bit overpriced for what it was.
We also ordered room service which was enjoyable food but again very expensive for what it was.
Short stay in Oxford
The Four Pillars was recommended to us and we weren't disappointed.
Very well situated, easy and pretty walk along the river into town. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly but professional, and the breakfasts and dinner were delicious.
Convenient Location for a city break in Oxford
My wife and I enjoyed Oxford and this hotel gave us the opportunity to walk into the city along the river Thames Walk.
It only took about 15 minutes and we got to watch the rowers too. The hotel is clean and tidy and the breakfast was enough to set us up for the day. Plenty of car-parking with straightforward access,

Ok, nothing special
Perfectly reasonable, but nothing exceptional.
Good for a night, not anything distinctive.
Customer service lacked in ordering a taxi when we were left waiting 40 minutes because reception gave our taxi to the wrong room.
Relaxing weekend away
Friendly helpful reception, even letting us have a late checkout the next day so we didn't have to rush home.
