Bryn Melyn

David & Heather are a really welcoming couple, providing a b&b service that feels like home from home.

The room was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was something we looked forward to every day. They are also great at recommending various walks or visits to help you plan your day, even lending us a map for the walk we chose :)

Bryn Melyn Guest House, Barmouth WOW great value for money

This accommodation I'd exceptional with jaw dropping views.

Beautiful surroundings. Very homely with a very warm welcome when you arrive.

Bryn Melyn Guest House is very easy to locate, there's is a turning point for you car to turn around which make it perfect when turning into the car park on the right. The car park is very well maintained with lot of space for manover. Before checking in there a conservatory you walk through which contains information in the area it also has a a place where you can leave you boots and walking sticks. It also has a little fountain which is really pretty, so you can sit there with a beverage listen to the streaming water while taking in the views. After the conservatory there's a hall which is bright and very clean, there's also a large picture ( map of the area) which is highly useful.Theres also a water drinks machine.

When checking in there's a bell on the right to get the owners attention. When I checked in it was very quick and easy. The owners also show you around. Breakfast area is bright with stunning views. As for the breakfast DELICIOUS. The bar area is very homely with a gorgeous fire and plenty of comfortable chairs.the prices of beverage is good with very good quality wines and a large selection of other alcoholic drinks. The bar also has a bell for attention. The bar and food area over look the mountains you can also sit and watch the local wildlife, while listening to woodpeckers. I've never seen so many red robbins and other types of birds, ohhh and the local squirrel which is very qute and entertaining

I stayed in a twin, when the door opened my jaw dropped. Outstanding view, you can see for miles even the bigger mountains with the snow on top. The room itself was extremely comfortable with a large wardrobe and additional throws and pillows on top in a plastic bag. The room has two chairs and a table by the two windows which can be opened two separate ways. The bathroom is spotless. There's is a little container which has cotton buds and other items. By the there's hand-wash mini shampoos and conditioners etc. The actual shower is a dream with plenty of room the move. There's also tea and coffee, hot chocolate with separate milk there's also biscuits and other items such as information book on the area, bar list and other information books. I would highly recommend staying at the Bryn Melyn Guest House of all accommodations I stayed at this accommodation tops them all. Thank you

Breezy Barmouth

The room had a wonderful view.

The B&B had a handy bar and very helpful hosts. All rooms have showers only but guests are encoraged to use the bath in the guest bathroom where you will find a cosy bathrobe and every variety of Radox.

Breathtaking Bryn Melyn

This is a beautiful B and B with friendly and welcoming owners situated in a quiet part of Barmouth in easy reach of the town centre.

The breakfast is lovely with a good choice on the menu. Our bedroom was clean and comfortable and all the public seating areas - conservatory, sitting room, breakfast room and terrace - were lovely. These features alone would make Bryn Melyn a great destination but it also boasts outstanding views across the estuary and mountains, which made for a very special holiday. Highly recommended.

Great view, lovely hosts and peaceful ambience.

Would definitely commend this Guesthouse to friends and family and have already. Getting into the car park in a large car requires a bit of manoeuvring, but plenty of spaces once you are in.

Stunning!!! You must go there!

I stayed one night as part of a four night tour.

Bryn Melyn is easily the best Guest House at which I stayed. The welcome was warm and friendly. The house is beautifully set up. The room was large, and I had a stunning view over the estuary. Faciliities are as good as you would have at home - which is a pleasant exception to the norm. Wi fi was great. The hosts were lovely and attentive. Breakfast was plentiful and well done. Barmouth is gorgeous - go for cake at Davy Jones Locker. Go there!

A fabulous place in a fabulous location

The sun was out, the view is breathtaking and the accommodation is fabulous.

The only drawback for some is the stiff walk up the hill after a night on the town. Just get a cab. highly recommended.
