Grand old hotel
So much nicer than staying in one of the chain hotels.
The place has a real charm and is full of character with friendly and polite staff.
Lovely room with sea views.
Manager very accommodating when we asked to change for a quieter room. A little tired in some areas like stairs but a lovely "grand" hotel in an excellent sea front location. Only downside was the attitude of the night manager in the bar on our second evening. We found him rather rude in ignoring customers and talking across them to staff so we were left waiting for service. The two staff on duty were put in a difficult position. A small niggle in an otherwise charming stay.
